3-Coat Plaster

Complete replacement of a ceiling or walls, as in the case of a fire, begins with wood framing, wire overlay, and three coats of plaster. The third coat being the smoothest. Sounds easy, but it isn't. The surface coat must match the exact texture of the original plaster. If it doesn't, the paint and decoration will refract light differently affecting color perception. Identical colors and designs will not match.
