Disinfection, Decontamination, & Preventative Cleaning

Helping eradicate viruses & bacteria found on surfaces and in the air including COVID-19.

Disinfecting and sanitizing building spaces to prevent the spread of viruses and bacteria.

John Canning & Co. craftsmen, technicians, and conservators are experts in many areas and, in response to the difficult times that the COVID-19 virus has brought upon the country, we wanted to find a way to help and do our part. As a result, our services have now expanded to include Disinfectant Cleaning & Decontamination.

To best meet our clients needs we offer this service to facilities, businesses, and residences that are looking for proactive measures to decontaminate and mitigate COVID-19 and other infectious diseases in their spaces.

This decontamination service can help provide sanitized spaces with an EPA approved product to prevent the spread of viruses, bringing a peace of mind to those visiting and working in these spaces.

By effectively decontaminating the surfaces and spaces of the buildings we work and live in, we can help restore stability in the communities across the country.

Through the process of Electrostatic attraction, the product is vaporized allowing a mist to be sprayed and provide a greater coverage on surfaces including in cracks and crevices that normal cleaning is likely not to reach.

This process is a more effective and efficient method than standard cleaning and pump sprayers. The particles in the electrostatic spray are positively charged, allowing them to coat and cling to any surface within range.

This solution attacks viruses, germs, and bacteria (including COVID-19).  Once the sanitizing agent is applied, the solution will disinfect the contaminated surfaces and areas that have been treated.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our project managers will review the areas you’d like to have disinfected and go over the process, scope and implementation plan, addressing any questions or concerns you may have.

We will work with you to coordinate schedules and are prepared to work off-hours, as needed.

Along with access to the building and rooms that will be sanitized these areas should remain unoccupied (people and animals) during the application process and for a minimum of 1 hour after the service has been completed. This time is to allow the cleaning agent to dry and properly decontaminate any surfaces.

There is no set schedule for disinfectant cleaning and decontamination. While this service can be performed in advance of re-openings, it can also be done on a routine or periodic schedule as a preventative measure.

There is always the potential risk of viruses and bacteria remaining on surfaces and in the air and we are prepared to work with you in determining the best maintenance service for your business needs.

The Products we use are on the EPA recommended list for the eradication of viruses and bacteria that might be found on surfaces and in the air including COVID-19/ CORONAVIRUS. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) list of EPA-registered disinfectant products are qualified for use against SARS-CoV-2, the novel coronavirus that causes COVID-19.
