Plaster Stabilization

Plaster ceilings and domes are only as sound as the structure they’ built upon. Whenever possible, we request access to the attic in order to evaluate the lath and the integrity of the attachments holding the plaster in place. This support structure could have suffered water damage that didn’t show on the surface, or movement of the building could have loosened the attachments over time. Repairing the supporting structure is essential to the longevity of the decoration restoration.
